I’ve experienced the same thing, and eventually, I’ve learned that the first step to being back to my positive self was to be easy on myself. It was tending to get mad at myself for not doing better at feeling good and managing what I was manifesting, but in the end, I was just pushing away my well being, I was putting gasoline on a fire.
We’re never really losing our way, we just wander through more contrast that help us define more clearly what we want, and if we know the power of the law of attraction, if we truly believe we’re the creator of our own reality, we know we’re always getting back to this positive self, because it’s our natural state. If we’re not there, it’s because we’re focusing on something we don’t want that is holding us back, or because we’re beating the drum of not being there.
What really helped me the past few weeks is the process that Abraham are sharing for a little while, which consist in finding good feeling thoughts first thing in the morning as we wake up, creating a momentum of more positive thoughts, and then watch the day unfold consequently based on that good feeling place.
It takes practice, because we’re not necessarily used to deliberately reach for good feeling thoughts, so within the first few days of doing this, we might be caught up by events or habits of thoughts that break this momentum. In that case, just make peace with it, don’t push against negative thoughts, just let them be. Maybe something will brighten your day and clear your ideas so we can start a good feeling momentum from there, and if there’s not, you can start again tomorrow morning :)
The more you practice it, the easier it will be, and within a few days, you’ll start noticing evidences that you’re on the right path. You’ll meet up with people and events that match the mood you set in the morning, and you’ll be delighted as you realize you created a good day on purpose.
